Term Limits

To avoid career politicians, an admentment to the Constitution should be enacted limiting terms of office as follows:

President: 3 terms (12 years)*
Senator: 2 terms (12 years)
Representative: 6 terms (12 years)

No person could "serve" more than 36 years at the Federal level.


* this is an increase of the current 2 term (8 years) limit
