Phony Soldiers Controversy

Regardless of what you think about Rush Limbaugh, the man is entitled to his opinions and thoughts. Why would an inept and dysfunctional Congress make an issue over what a private citizen says or thinks (except during an election, and only then when it's a signifcant number of voters)? Why, when they have more pressing matters, would they give an Iota of time and/or attention to anything but the important issues of our time???

I guess I answered my own question...they are inept and dysfunctional.

By the way, taking Limbaugh's comments in context, I don't see why this is considered a "controversy" (except for the shear pettiness of Congressional "leaders").
